Octave of Love

Outside I hear a thousand songs
A chorus of life with vibrant chords
That echo within a beating heart
And play a melody for angel’s words

Seeking only to express a harmonious joy
Not being a witness or a mere passerby
The dance of life is a movement to enjoy
The muse herself seeks to catch the eye

Laughter inhaled like the smell of cinnamon
It circulates in blood and permeates the skin
Expressed in waves of divine celebration
Bringing light to life in the absence of sin

Inside I hear a thousand songs
A chorus resounding to the heavens above
Expanding our souls in divine meditation
Creating an octave for love’s radiation
